How to respond to consequences if necessary
Consequences for whistleblowers are prohibited by law. If you believe that you are nevertheless subject to consequences or retaliation, please report it through this channel. The appropriate category is "Protection of privacy and personal data and security of network and information systems". In this way, appropriate countermeasures can be taken.
Primarily, reports should always be made through this reporting channel. However, if in your justified opinion this would not be appropriate or reasonable, or if this would prove unsuccessful or futile, you also have the option of submitting a report via an external reporting channel. If there is no special competence, this is the Austrian Federal Office for Preventing and Combating Corruption (Bundesamt zur Korruptionsprävention und Korruptionsbekämpfung).
Please note that this platform is not intended to deal with general enquiries or complaints, but solely to report violations in the above-mentioned areas. The dissemination of knowingly false or misleading information may be punishable . However, no adverse consequences are to be feared for information you provide to the best of your knowledge.
